This is the former site of a juggling information repository.  It has
been replaced by the WWW based Juggling Information Service (JIS), at:

	http://www.hal.com/services/juggle/

The JIS contains a huge amount of information on juggling, including:

 * Access to the complete archive of the rec.juggling newsgroup,
   including convenient search and retrieval functions.

 * Links to home pages for many online jugglers world-wide.

 * A Picture Gallery containing a collection of juggling
   photographs, drawings, artwork, logos, and clip art.

 * A Movie Theater, containing juggling videos and animations for
   UNIX machines, PC's, and Macs.

 * Juggling Help files, with helpful suggestions from fellow
   jugglers.  Topics include 4 balls, 5 balls, warming up, numbers,
   Mill's mess, site-swaps, and much more.

 * Complete up-to-date information on juggling festivals world-wide.

 * Information about local juggling club meetings world-wide where
   you can meet other jugglers and share your skills.

 * A Juggler's Mall, containing information on juggling prop vendors
   world-wide.  And yes, you can now order juggling props through
   the Internet.

 * A Magazine Rack, with bits and pieces of various juggling
   publications, including Kaskade, Two-Ply Press, and others.

 * A Juggling in the Media section, covering juggling books, videos,
   and articles, as well as juggling scenes in movies and on TV.

 * Information on the International Jugglers Association (IJA), the
   world's primary organization of jugglers, including membership
   information, addresses of IJA officers, competition records, and
   past IJA championship winners.

 * An archive of the IJA's "Juggler's World" magazine, soon to
   contain all issues from 1986 to the present, including artwork,
   photographs, search functions, indexes, and hypertext access.

 * A Related Areas section, covering a variety of related
   interests, such as unicycling, circus schools, balloon modeling,
   footbag, frisbee, and much more.

 * Juggling Software that may be retrieved and used to simulate
   juggling and view site swaps, plus other juggling related
   software.

The best way to access the information at the JIS is with a WWW
browser, such as Mosaic (full featured graphical interface) or Lynx
(text only).  Those without WWW access may use the e-mail gateways
provided to allow full retrieval of all information via mail.  For
information on how to do this, and what is available for retrieval,
send a message to juggle@hal.com, with FILE-SERVICE in the Subject,
and HELP in the body.

The information contained within the JIS is mirrored at:

        ftp.hal.com:/pub/juggle

Although FTP does not provide nearly as pleasant a medium for browsing
through this information, at least it is accessible to those who do not
yet have WWW access.
