Magnificat is one name for a third generation program in the Copycat line, after Copycat itself and Metacat, proposed by Michael Roberts. Damien Sullivan is beginning work on a third generation, and might steal that name, or 'Caricat' (from Hofstadter), 'Copychat' or 'Copy Spirit' (both from Sullivan), depending partly on what direction his project actually goes in.
