Ara macao
One of the most beautifully colored species on Earth! Both males and females are similarly colored. Scarlet macaws are large parrots who live in Panama and in South America east of the Andes, in Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. However, their natural habitat has shrunk considerably, and they are considered an endangered species. Who would want this rainbow-like bird to disappear!
